Lighted Patio Umbrellas - Tips On Lighting Up Your Umbrella
Just because the sun goes down doesn't mean it's time to go indoors. In fact by mid summer when it's really hot in Atlanta, we enjoy being out by the pool in the evening better than during the middle of the day. So we have several ways to light up our patio umbrellas.
Outdoor Umbrella Candle
An outdoor umbrella candle fits around the pole of any size umbrella. It provides a nice ambient light for an evening meal or visiting with friends.
What I like about it is that it doesn't take up much space and looks nice with any type of table setting or umbrella tablecloth. If you are entertaining guests it can be used as your centerpiece as well.
Battery Powered Umbrella Lights
If you are wanting a light that provides something brighter than a candle to perhaps play cards, a game or just to read, a battery powered umbrella light works great. There is no need for any electricity or power outlet. It simply clamps around the umbrella pole and can placed at whatever height works best for you.
Lighted patio umbrellas can get their source of power from the sun as well or from battery operated paper lanterns. For more tips, ideas and pictures to light up your patio umbrella go to:
