Flip Flop Cake

flip flop cake

A Flip Flop cake is the perfect dessert for your pool or flip flop party. You can have so much fun with this - and if you want it can also serve as your centerpiece.

This cake picture is from Terrisstuff64.

Color some coconut, position the coconut on your round or 9 x 12 cake, in the shape of a flip flop.

Add some ribbon and a silk flower.

This cupcake stand has been used for lots of parties - here it's being used for these flip flop cupcakes.

Here are some quick and easy ways to decorate your cake for a flip flop theme party:

Flip Flop Cupcakes

I prefer cakes that are easy to make, but make a big statement. In fact I find that when kids are involved, cup cakes are a big hit and easier for them to handle.

Simply buy and place these cute flip flops on the these cupcakes and place them on a cup cake stand.

The frosting was tinted blue and then sprinkled with blue and green sugar.

Flip Flop Shaped Cakes

"Flowers are candy with skittles for centers. Skittles and Nerds are on top of sandals. Soles of sandals are wrapped with pull-n-peel licorice. Green licorice is used for the sandal straps.

The sand is brown sugar. Each sandal is 2 layers with chocolate icing in between. One sandal is yellow cake and one sandal is chocolate cake."

She used graham cracker crumbs for the sand and small artificial flowers to decorate the sandals.

How cute.
