Yard Torches
You can choose from many styles whether you are wanting a more tiki party atmosphere using bamboo tiki torches or a more classic look using metal tiki torches. The bamboo torches need to be replaced more often while the metal torches will last for several seasons.
Tiki Torch Lights
Tiki torch lights can be placed anywhere. Consider using them:1. At the entrance to your pool or backyard - one on either side of the sidewalk or path 2. Along the perimeter of your pool or yard 3. Near the food table, sitting area or dining area 4. On stairways and ledges using mini tiki torches 5. Clamped onto your deck railing
Bamboo Tiki Torches
Bamboo tiki torches are the most affordable way to provide outdoor torch lights for evening entertainment. They are the easiest to find as well. You can find them at any grocery store, Target, K-mart, etc. They run between $3-$5 a piece. Be sure to buy several of them (6-12) to get the right effect. Metal Tiki Torches
Metal tiki torches serve as a decorative piece in your yard or garden during the day and serve as an outdoor torch in the evening.Place them near the entrance to your pool or yard, along pathways, near steps, close to the food or seating areas. Although they are more expensive than the bamboo tiki torch, they are more durable and come in a variety of styles. They can be staked in your yard, sit on a table or on steps, or placed right on your cement if it comes with a stand. To see the variety of different designs click here:

Glass Torch
We use glass tiki torches around our pool along the stone wall and on the stone steps to the pool area. Make sure you place them in areas such as a pathway or steps and near the food table. We use 12 - 15 of them around our pool area. You can find them in a variety of styles from yard torches to tabletop torches. Of course you need to be more careful with them as they are breakable. Solar Torch
A solar torch is the easiest of all yard torches. You place them in the ground in a sunny spot, and they automatically turn on when the sun goes down. Ours are still providing plenty of light when I get up in the morning. No need for any tiki torch fuel. We have a couple of them - and although they don't provide as great an atmosphere as tiki torch lights, I love how they just come on every evening and light up the stairway to our pool. Tabletop Tiki Torches

Tabletop tiki torches can be used on lots of places besides tables. It simply means that these outdoor torches have a flat bottom or a stand that can sit on a table or any flat surface.
We use ours on a landscaping ledge, the stairs to the pool and on the sidewalk.

When you are ready to get rid of your cheap bamboo tiki torches and ready to get an outdoor torch that has style and class, consider copper tiki torches. These metal outdoor torches come in different styles, shapes and finishes. But one thing is the same - they offer quality and durability. You can keep them outside all summer. You don't need to put them out and then bring them in after every outdoor party.

Tabletop Torches
Tabletop torches are the perfect outdoor torch for any flat surface - whether it is a table, ledge or step. Another option besides placing yard torches in the ground is to line them along ledges, stairs, or rock walls. We have 20 small tabletop torches that we place along our rock wall and on the steps down to the pool. We prefer these just because our rock wall is near our dining table and where we serve our food. It looks great in the evening and provides light on the stairs as well. The small metal or glass table top torches are less expensive than the yard staked versions. They can also be moved around easily.

Tiki Torch Wicks
Don't let the lights go out on your party because you don't have any tiki torch wicks. The cotton wicks need to be replaced periodically. It's a good idea to keep some on hand, as it is not always easy to find these at the store - especially since they are a seasonal item.
