Pirate Birthday Supplies

These invitations were actually made from a Vacation Bible School craft kit from Oriental Trading. They were in the clearance section and thought what great pirate party invitations they would make.I put the craft together and then covered the Bible verse with a print out of the pirate party details. The guests lived nearby so we were able to hand deliver them. The boys still have them hanging in their bedrooms. Use pirate lingo in your invite such as: Ahoy Mates Aye Arrr Blimey Heave Ho Shiver me timbers Thar she blows

Pirate Treasure Chest
If you want to do something out of the ordinary and that's memorable, consider using these small cardboard treasure chests. Place your invitation in the chest, with the invite written on a pirate treasure map. Include a couple of gold coins, small pieces of jewelry or pieces of candy in it as well. Hand deliver the invites to your guests.
Pirate Pouch
Make an impression by using these black pirate bounty bags to deliver your invite. Invitations do a lot more than just tell a person the time and place, they set the tone for the party and help build excitement and anticipation for the big event. By sending an invite that's more than just a piece of paper, it lets your guests know that this is not going to be an ordinary party. Place the invitation - such as a pirate treasure map with the party details - in the black pouch with a couple of cold coins. Either hand deliver them or mail them in the appropriate size mailer.
